" Transitions in Time - Stark County, Ohio
"
2009 marks the
200th anniversary of the founding of Stark
County, Ohio. Times have changed quite a bit
since 1809. Yet in the past 100 years much has
stayed the same, such as our Downtown Canton.
This Magic
Picture transitions between an image of Public
Square as it was known in 1897, to a current
photograph as it is today. Many of these
buildings have been wonderfully restored and
preserved.
If you look
carefuly you can see the old trolly cars that
used to navigate our city streets as well as a
horse drawn milk wagon. I guess a lot has changed
after all.
